EDU usually smiles upon the gag entry - the contest can be too serious and all those beautiful people in their stunning clothes make us feel drab. But De Toppers are just terrible. Sure, we get it, flashing lights on the suits, a fat chick carrying a turntable, every cliche in the book: 'Love will make us glow in the dark', etc - but if world peace is going to be brought about by a comedy act at Eurovision, that act will be Alf Poier.
